Abstract
Artificial Intelligence, as part of disruptive technologies, has impacted records and archives in so many ways and the relationship between records, archives and AI is indisputable. With speakers leveraging on their theoretical and practical experiences in records and archives management, and AI, this seminar presents an opportunity for speakers to explore the interrelatedness of records, archives and AI. The seminar further brings to the fore, issues surrounding the the application of AI to records and archives, at the same time highlighting potential areas of synergy between the two disciplines. The seminar also allows speakers and the audience to engage in discussions as to how AI & records and archives management can glean into the future whilst harnessing the already existing synergy between the two disciplines.
About the speakers
Hamad joined the National Archives in 2009 and currently serves as Director of the Archives Department overseeing five key divisions of the National Archives: Government Archives, Historical Archives, Presidential Archives, Electronic Archives, Preservation and restoration.
A negative PCR test of no more than 30 days (green pass) and being fully vaccinated is required to access/attend the event or non-vaccinated individuals may now enter with a negative PCR test received within 7 days
